Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By installing or using the Proofreader 2 Google Docs add-on (the "Add-On"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to them, do not use the Add-On.
2. Description of the Add-On
Proofreader 2 provides proofreading and writing suggestions for content in Google Docs. We may update, improve, or modify the Add-On over time.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for how you use the Add-On and for the content you submit to it.
- You may not use the Add-On for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the Add-On or its services.
4. Privacy and data
To generate suggestions, we send your text to Google's Gemini API. We use the paid API tier, which means your data is not used to train Google's models. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
5. Intellectual property
The Add-On and all related materials are owned by Wawade AB or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights to the Add-On or to any related intellectual property.
6. No warranty
The Add-On is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Add-On will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your expectations.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Wawade AB is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Add-On.
- If we are found liable for any claim, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the Add-On during the 3 months before the claim arose.
8. Changes to the Add-On or Terms
We may update or change the Add-On or these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top will always show the latest version. Continued use of the Add-On after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Add-On at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to the Add-On if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.
